Mickie is originally from the UK and has been in Australia since 2003.
Her academic background is the arts and studied dance from childhood.
Her professional background includes 17 years of teaching exercise in many forms. With 15 years of experience in the Fitness Industry as a Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer and Bootcamp Instructor, Mickie began to teach Group Mat classes in 2008.
Falling in love with the grace and precision of Pilates, she then learned to teach Group Reformer in 2014 and now teaches a high volume of classes in Sydney every week. She also teaches Barre Attack and Jump Board Classes.
In 2017, she upgraded her qualifications to the STOTT Pilates method and is now trained in all the Pilates Studio equipment and in Injuries and Pathologies.
Her teaching style is precise and educational whilst being fun and informal. She is a contemporary Pilates Instructor, blending Classical movements with rehab techniques, the science of strength training and the fun of group fitness into a style that is truly unique.
She loves to give her clients an unforgettable training experience, taking them out of pain and tension and into improved posture, energy levels and real enjoyment of exercise.
